Get the Wheels Off Your Parking Lift: the Daytona RAJ5 5,000 lb Rolling Bridge Jack

A four post parking lift holds a car by its own wheels. That is fine for storage and fine for an oil change, and useless the moment you want a wheel off. Brakes, tires, and rotors all need the car supported by something other than the tires it is standing on.

The Daytona RAJ5 is what turns a parking lift into a lift you can actually work on. It rolls along the runways, spans the gap, and raises 5,000 lbs off the deck so an axle comes free while the car stays where it is. The frame adjusts 32.9" to 60.4" to sit across the runways of Daytona's 9,000 and 10,000 lb parking lifts.

It runs on shop air at 110 to 150 PSI, so there is no electrical hookup. A mechanical safety lock holds it at the 20.5" working height, and the jack sits roughly 5" above the platform when it is down, low enough to leave in place under a parked car.

Buy it with the lift if you can. A parking lift without a rolling jack is a storage rack, and adding the jack later costs a second freight charge. Call a Pitstop Pro lift specialist to spec it. Browse every rolling bridge jack, see all storage lifts, or view the full Daytona lineup.

Benefits of the Daytona RAJ5

Makes a parking lift a service lift
Without a rolling jack, a four post holds the car on its tires and nothing comes off. With one, brakes, tires, bearings, and suspension all become possible on the same rack.
Sized for the 9k and 10k racks
5,000 lbs is the right capacity for a jack lifting one axle on a 9,000 or 10,000 lb parking lift, and the frame range is set to those runways.
Air powered, nothing to wire
110 to 150 PSI off a normal shop compressor. No electrical hookup, no dedicated circuit, and nothing to add to the install.
Mechanical lock at working height
The lock engages at 20.5" so the load rests on steel rather than air pressure while somebody has their hands in a wheel well.
Sits low and stays put
Roughly 5" above the platform when collapsed, so it can live on the runways rather than being lifted on and off every time you need it.

Key Features of the Daytona RAJ5

Air operation at 110 to 150 PSI: Pneumatic, with no electrical connection required.

Base adjusts 33.5" to 45.3": The rolling frame extends to suit the runway rails, and 4.7" rollers carry it along the deck under load.

Daytona RAJ5 Frequently Asked Questions

Do I really need one?

If the lift is purely for storage, no. If you intend to do any work on the car while it is up there, yes. A four post keeps the vehicle on its own wheels, so nothing comes off without a rolling jack. Most owners who skip it end up buying one within the year.

Which Daytona jack fits my lift?

Match the jack to the rack, not to the vehicle. The RAJ5 is for the 9,000 and 10,000 lb parking lifts. The RAJ8 is for the 12,000 and 14,000 lb alignment lifts, and the RAJ12 is for the 24,000 lb LFPA24.

Will it fit a parking lift from another brand?

Daytona states plainly that these jacks are designed to fit Daytona lifts and may not fit other brands. The frame adjusts 32.9" to 60.4", so measure your runway spacing and call us before ordering if your rack is not a Daytona.

What air supply does it need?

110 to 150 PSI from a normal shop compressor. There is no electrical connection at all. If your garage has a compressor and a drop near the lift, you have what it needs.

Can I add it to a lift I already own?

Yes. It sits on the runways and rolls into position, so there is nothing to bolt down and nothing to wire. Ordering with the lift only saves a second freight charge.

How does delivery work?

It ships as freight in a 41" x 26" x 17" crate weighing 380 lbs. Compact but dense, so a pallet jack and a level approach usually handles it. If it is going out with a lift, we can coordinate both onto the same delivery.

    • Poor maintenance, including failure to complete required inspections or service, may also void warranty coverage.
  • Warranty Replacement Parts:

    • The customer is responsible for loading and unloading warranty replacement equipment.
  • Equipment Replacement:
    • If a covered defect cannot be resolved after available repair options have been exhausted, Daytona Automotive Equipment may replace the equipment with a new unit of equal value.
    • If the customer chooses an upgraded model, the customer may be responsible for paying the price difference.
  • Important Notes:
    • The validity of all warranty claims is determined by Daytona Automotive Equipment.
    • Equipment should be inspected upon delivery and before each use for damage, loose hardware, damaged components, or other conditions that could affect safe operation.
