The Daytona LFPP10 is the straightforward way to do it. 10,000 lbs of capacity, 181.9" runways, and a rise from 5.9" to 79.5", which puts a car up high enough to park a second one underneath and still open its doors. It is the standard length model in the range, so it fits a normal bay rather than dictating one.
Safety is carried by four mechanical locking devices, each with primary and secondary locks and a single point manual release. It runs on an ordinary 120V single phase circuit at 1.5 HP, anchors into a standard 4" slab, and ships with a steel jack tray, three plastic drip trays, and removable aluminum approach ramps. The runways adjust for different track widths and the pump mounts on any of the four posts.

Will two cars actually fit under my ceiling?
Do the arithmetic before you order. The lift is 98.3" tall by itself, which is 8'-2", and the vehicle on the top deck sits above the runway rather than inside that figure. A 10 foot ceiling handles most sedans on top. A standard 8 foot residential ceiling will not. Measure to the lowest obstruction, which is usually the garage door track or a light fixture, not the ceiling itself.
Should I get this or the XLT?
The LFPP10-XLT has the same 10,000 lb capacity but runs 196.9" runways and 85" of clearance, against 181.9" and 79.5" here. Choose the XLT if you are stacking a crew cab, a long wheelbase van, or a full size SUV, and if your ceiling can take the extra 7 inches of lift height. For cars and mid size SUVs the standard LFPP10 costs less and takes less room.
Can I use it to work on a car, not just store one?
Yes, within limits. The deck travels from 5.9" to 79.5", so you can set a comfortable working height. Add the RAJ5 rolling jack if you need the wheels off. A four post lift keeps the vehicle on its own wheels by default, so for suspension and brake work the jack is not optional.
Does it really run on a normal 120V outlet?
It runs on 120V single phase at 1.5 HP, drawing 26 amps. That is a dedicated circuit, not a shared one, and 26 amps is more than a standard 15 or 20 amp household receptacle will carry. Have a licensed electrician confirm the circuit and breaker before the lift arrives.
Can I move it once it is installed?
With the optional LFPP-WHL wheel kit, yes. It bolts casters to the column bases so the lift can be rolled within the garage, and ships as a 40" x 24" x 10" package weighing 120 lbs. Without it the lift stays where it is set, so order the wheel kit with the lift rather than after.
What concrete does it need?
A minimum of 4" of 3,000 PSI concrete, level within 3/8" across the installation area, with no anchor placed within 6" of a crack, edge, or expansion joint. That is a standard residential garage slab, which is part of why this lift suits a home garage rather than only a commercial shop. Verifying the slab is still the customer's responsibility, and if you are not certain what is under your floor, core it before you order.
How does delivery work?
The LFPP10 ships as freight in a crate 191" long weighing 2,500 lbs with the pump included. At nearly sixteen feet that is not a tailgate delivery, and a residential driveway may not take the truck. What is the warranty?
