Race Ramps 10 Inch Multi Purpose Wheel Cribs, Set of 2
Ten Inches Up, No Jack Involved: Race Ramps 10" Wheel Cribs
Jack stands hold a car on a small steel saddle placed under a pinch weld. It works, and it is also why nobody is comfortable leaving a car on them for a week, or crawling under one without a second thought.
A wheel crib takes a different route. The car stays on its own tires, the tire drops into a molded cradle, and the load spreads through a solid block straight to the floor. There is no jacking, no point loading and nothing that can kick out from under the car.
These lift 10" and carry 1,500 lbs per crib, 6,000 lbs across the pair. Each is 15" x 12" and weighs 6 lbs, in solid high density foam with a traction coating that grips an epoxy floor and will not scratch or stain it.
Sold in pairs, for tires up to 12" wide on packages measuring 24" to 30" overall. Want less height? The 8" cribs. More? The 12" cribs. See all wheel cribs.

Benefits of the 10" Wheel Cribs
One Piece or Two Piece
Both give the same 10" of lift, the same 1,500 lb rating per crib, and the same 15" x 12" footprint. The difference is whether the block splits.
• One Piece, RR-WC-10: A single solid 10" block. Nothing to align and nothing to come apart. The simplest option if 10" is the height you want.
• Two Piece Adjustable, RR-WC-10-2: Two interlocking 5" halves. Stack them for two 10" cribs, or split them for four 5" cribs and support all four wheels at once. That flexibility is what you are paying the difference for.
If you might ever want all four wheels up, or a lower working height for detailing, take the two piece.

Wheel Crib Frequently Asked Questions
Which height do I need?
Eight inches is enough to get hands and a drain pan under. Ten is the general purpose choice and gives real working room. Twelve is for when you want maximum clearance and do not mind the extra climb. All three take the same 12 inch tire.
Are they safer than jack stands?
That is Race Ramps' claim and the load path supports it. The car stays on its tires and the weight spreads through a solid block rather than a steel saddle on a pinch weld. Nothing tips and nothing kicks out. Still chock the wheels on the ground and use sense before getting fully underneath.
Can a low car get onto a 10 inch crib?
Cribs are a vertical step rather than a ramp, so the tire has to climb 10 inches in a short distance. On a very low car use ramps to raise it first, or choose the 8 inch cribs. If in doubt, call us and describe the car.
Can I leave a car on them for months?
Yes. Foam does not fatigue the way a mechanical stand can and there is nothing to corrode. If the only goal is winter storage and preventing flat spots, car storage ramps do that at floor level for less money.
Do I need four?
A pair lifts one axle, which covers most jobs. Buy two pairs if you want the whole car level and off the ground, or take the two piece version and split it into four 5 inch cribs for a lower all round lift.
