Order Pickers is Pitstop Pro's dedicated order picker catalog. 4 Ekko Lifts electric order pickers with operator-elevating platforms. Unlike forklifts (which lift pallets), order pickers elevate the operator to picking height for case-pick and item-pick operations. 2,200 lb capacity with platform heights up to 196" (16.3 ft).
Order pickers are the e-commerce fulfillment and distribution center standard. Operator stands on elevated platform to pick individual cases or items from racking, then lowers to floor for pallet-out delivery. Perfect for warehouses with case-pick or split-case-pick operations where lifting whole pallets isn't the goal. Prices from $5,099 EOPS20 compact entry through $32,999 EOP70 flagship 196" platform.
Need full pallet handling instead? See Forklifts or Reach Trucks. Elevated work platforms only? See Scissor Lifts.

Why buy an order picker
Four reasons order pickers beat forklifts for case-pick operations.
Operator elevates
Operator platform raises to picking height. Pick individual cases or items from racking without ladders or bringing entire pallets to floor.
Faster than forklifts
For case-pick operations, order pickers are 2-3x faster than forklifts (which have to bring the whole pallet down).
Safer than ladders
OSHA-preferred alternative to ladder-based picking for elevated racking. Guardrail platform with fall protection.
Li-Ion available
Ekko order pickers offer Li-Ion battery upgrade. Opportunity charging, longer service life, zero maintenance.

Order picker vs. reach truck: pick individual cases vs. move whole pallets
Order pickers are for picking individual cases or items from elevated racking (operator elevates to pick height). Reach trucks are for lifting whole pallets in/out of deep racking (pallet elevates, operator stays low). Different workflows. Both often coexist in the same warehouse. Call (470) 208-2754 to discuss warehouse workflow if unsure which you need.

Order picker FAQs
Common questions on warehouse order pickers.
Order picker vs. reach truck?
Order picker: operator elevates on platform to pick individual cases/items from racking. Best for case-pick and split-case-pick operations. Reach truck: forks elevate whole pallets into/out of deep racking. Best for pallet-in/pallet-out warehouses.
What height do I need?
Match to your top pick location. Standard racking (3-4 shelves): 130"-177". Tall racking (5-6 shelves): 196". Compact entry EOPS20 (130") for smaller warehouses; EOP70 (196") for standard distribution centers.
Do order pickers need OSHA certification?
Yes. OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 requires powered industrial truck training for order pickers. Fall protection harness/tether is also required when operator is elevated. Employer-provided training required.
Lead-acid vs. Li-Ion battery?
Lead-acid: lower up-front cost, longer charge time, requires watering. Li-Ion: higher up-front, opportunity charging (charge during breaks), 2-3x longer life, zero maintenance. Pays back in 2-4 years for multi-shift ops.
Aisle width requirements?
Order pickers typically operate in 6-8 ft narrow aisles (similar to reach trucks). Compact EOPS20 fits tighter aisles; flagship EOP70 needs 8 ft.
How much can order pickers hold?
Ekko order pickers rated 2,200 lb capacity (operator + picked cases). Individual case weight typically 30-50 lb; operator around 200 lb. Never exceed rated capacity.
How does delivery work?
All order pickers ship LTL freight with liftgate service. Free U.S. shipping. Larger units may require truck-with-forklift delivery. Typical delivery 7-15 business days.
What warranty is included?
Standard Ekko manufacturer warranty. Typically 1-2 years on frame/structural, 6-12 months on electrical. Li-Ion battery packs carry separate 3-5 year warranties.
Can I finance an order picker?
Yes. $5K-$33K commercial order picker purchases often qualify for extended payment plans through third-party lenders. Call (470) 208-2754 or request a quote.
Best pick for e-commerce fulfillment?
EOP68 (177") or EOP70 (196") standard order pickers are the e-commerce fulfillment standard. Li-Ion (EOP70-L) if running multi-shift operations.
