What height do I need?
Measure from floor to work height, add 5-6 ft (operator stands on platform, work happens above shoulders). Warehouse ceiling maintenance in 20 ft ceilings: 15-20 ft lift. 30 ft ceilings: 25-30 ft lift. Always order some headroom.
Lead-acid vs. Li-Ion battery?
Lead-acid: lower up-front cost, longer charge time, requires watering. Li-Ion: higher up-front, opportunity charging, zero maintenance, 2-3x longer life. Choose Li-Ion for multi-shift ops or high-use.
OSHA requirements?
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.453 requires scissor lift operator training, pre-shift inspection, and use of harness/tether when required. Employer-provided training. Refresher training required every 3 years.
Do I need special electrical service?
Scissor lifts charge on standard 120V AC (or 240V for larger units) via included charger. Charge time varies by battery: 6-8 hours for lead-acid, 2-4 hours for Li-Ion with opportunity charging.
Indoor or outdoor use?
Ekko electric scissor lifts are indoor-rated. For rough terrain outdoor use, dedicated outdoor scissor lifts or boom lifts are needed. Concrete/tile floors only.
Aisle/door width requirements?
Scissor lifts vary in width. Most Ekko units fit standard 36"+ commercial doorways when compact. Extended platforms may require 48"+ clearance. Check spec sheet.
How does delivery work?
All scissor lifts ship LTL freight with liftgate service. Free U.S. shipping. Larger units (394", 468") may require truck-with-forklift delivery. Typical delivery 7-15 business days.
What warranty is included?
Standard Ekko manufacturer warranty. Typically 1-2 years on frame/structural, 6-12 months on electrical. Li-Ion batteries carry separate 3-5 year warranty.
Can I finance a scissor lift?

Can I use a scissor lift outdoors?
Not the Ekko indoor-rated electric scissor lifts. For outdoor work, you need a rough-terrain scissor lift or boom lift (not currently in the Pitstop Pro catalog).
