10.4 Degrees Down to 6.8, on the Wide Deck System

These are add on inclines, not ramps. They fit the 20 inch wide Restyler Ramps only. The ramps themselves are not included. Running the 16 inch system? That takes RR-EX-PPS instead.

Restyler Ramps lift a vehicle 14 inches on a 10.4 degree approach. That is gentle for a system this tall, and it is still too steep for a car with a splitter or an aggressive front lip.

An XTender adds another 74 inches of run in front of the ramp and brings the combined approach down to 6.8 degrees. The nose lifts well before the ramp gets near it.

Each one is 74" long by 20" wide, standing 4" high where it meets the ramp, and it folds into a 30.5" flap and a 43.5" ramp section for storage and transport.

Sold in pairs. This is the folding retail version. The Restyler Complete Kit ships the no fold RR-EX-20-NF instead, so take the Kit if you do not need the fold.

Race Ramps RR-EX-20 folding XTenders in front of 20 inch Restyler Ramps

Benefits of the RR-EX-20 XTenders

Six point eight degrees
Gentler than any standalone ramp Race Ramps build. On a 14 inch lift that is the difference between a splitter car getting up under its own power and a bad noise at the bottom of the ramp.
It folds, so it travels
Six feet of ramp that breaks at the joint into a 30.5 inch flap and a 43.5 inch section. This is the version to own if the set moves between bays or goes on a trailer, and it is the only difference from what ships inside the Kit.
Cut to the 20 inch deck
Width matched to the ramps, so a wide truck tire tracks straight from the XTender onto the deck with no edge or step at the joint. That is exactly why the 16 inch part is a separate item.
Protects the expensive end
A splitter or a front lip meets the ramp first and costs the most to replace. On a customer vehicle in a wrap bay, that risk sits with you, not the owner.
Only when you need it
Leave them off for a truck and lay them down for the low car. Foam means one person moves them in and out of position, so it is not a job you end up avoiding.
Grips instead of sliding away
The traction coating matters more on an XTender than anywhere, because the tire meets it first and pushes forward. Foam holds on epoxy and sealed concrete without marking. Made in the USA with a one year warranty.

XTender Frequently Asked Questions

Do I get ramps with this?

No. This is the pair of folding XTenders on their own. They are useless without 20 inch Restyler Ramps behind them. If you have not bought the system yet, take the Complete Kit and the XTenders come with it.

Folding or no fold, which do I want?

Race Ramps ship the no fold RR-EX-20-NF inside the Restyler Kit, and sell this folding RR-EX-20 separately. Same length, same width, same 6.8 degree result. Buy the folding one if the set gets moved, stored upright, or loaded into a trailer. If it lives in one bay, the Kit version is the cheaper route.

Will the 16 inch XTenders work instead?

No. RR-EX-PPS is 16 inches wide, so on a 20 inch deck the tire would cross a four inch step right at the joint. Match the width to your ramps.

How much extra floor space do I need?

Each XTender adds just over six feet in front of the ramp. The Restyler system is already 225 inches, so a full setup with XTenders runs close to twenty five feet per side, plus room to line the vehicle up straight. Measure the bay before you order.

Is the fold a weak point?

Race Ramps rate the Restyler system at 6,000 lbs total with the XTenders in place, folding version included. Set them flat and fully unfolded on level ground, and check the joint is seated against the ramp before the vehicle goes on.

Does the tire ride on the XTender the whole way?

Yes. It is a full width running surface, not a lip. The tire climbs the 30.5 inch flap, crosses the joint, continues up the 43.5 inch section, and meets the Restyler incline at 4 inches already gained. That is where the shallower combined angle comes from.
