Three Products in One Pair: the Race Ramps 80" Combo Ramps

Most people who own a low car end up buying three separate things. Service ramps for the garage, trailer ramps for loading, and cribs for shows or wheel off work. Three purchases, three sets of foam taking up three corners.

The RR-80-10-2 is all three. Race Ramps calls it a triple header, and the trick is the two piece design. Together they are 80" service ramps giving 10" of lift on an 8.5 degree approach. Pull the top block off and the incline becomes a trailer ramp, with a notch molded in to clear the trailer door. Take the incline away and the block left under the tire is a wheel crib.

The ramp section also flips over to give an even shallower entry for loading a lowered car. Each ramp carries 1,500 lbs, 6,000 lbs across the pair, takes tires up to 12" wide, and weighs 22 lbs.

Sold as a pair. At 8.5 degrees this is one of the gentler climbs in the range. Compare the XT for a dedicated service ramp, or browse all car ramps.

Race Ramps 80 inch combo ramps, pair

Benefits of the Combo Ramps

One purchase instead of three
Service ramp, trailer ramp and wheel crib in the same pair. Buying the three separately costs considerably more and takes three times the storage space, which is the entire argument for this product.
8.5 degrees over 80 inches
Gentler than the XT and far gentler than any short ramp, because there is nearly seven feet of run to spread the climb. Low cars that struggle elsewhere generally manage this one.
The ramp flips for loading
Turn the incline section over and you get a shallower face still, which is the configuration for getting a lowered car up a trailer ramp door. The notch molded into it clears the door itself.
Ten inches of working room
The same lift height as the XT, which is enough to get a creeper and your shoulders under the front of the car rather than just an arm and a drain pan.
The incline comes away
Once the car is parked on the block, seven feet of ramp lifts out of the way. You get the floor back and full access to the front corners of the car, which a one piece ramp never gives you.
22 lbs a ramp
The largest ramp in the standard range and still light enough to reposition alone. Traction coated so it grips epoxy and concrete, with no steel to mark a floor. Made in the USA.

Combo Ramp Frequently Asked Questions

How does one product do three jobs?

It is two pieces. Assembled, it is an 80 inch service ramp with 10 inches of lift. The incline section on its own is a trailer ramp, with a notch for the trailer door and the option to flip it for a shallower entry. The top block on its own is a wheel crib. You are not compromising on any of the three, you are just using different parts of the same pair.

This or the XT?

Both give 10 inches of lift and both take 12 inch tires. The combo climbs gentler at 8.5 degrees against 10.8, is longer at 80 inches against 67, and does the trailer and crib jobs as well. The XT is cheaper and takes less room if all you need is a service ramp.

Will they work with my trailer?

The incline section is designed to sit against a trailer ramp door, and the molded notch clears the door edge. Flipping the section gives an even shallower angle for a lowered car. Trailer door heights vary, so call us with yours if you want it checked before ordering.

How much space do they need?

Nearly seven feet per side assembled, plus room to approach straight. Once the car is up the incline lifts away, so you recover most of that floor while you work. They store as separate blocks and inclines against a wall.

Are the cribs as good as dedicated ones?

They do the job at the same 1,500 lb rating, but a purpose built crib has a molded cradle shaped to the tire. If wheel off work or display is your main use rather than an occasional one, look at the dedicated wheel cribs as well.
