Race Ramps rack ramps solve one specific problem: driving a lowered car onto a 4-post lift runway without scraping the lift-approach edge. Standard 4-post lift runways have a steep ramp lip at the entry point (typically 12-15 degrees) that's fine for stock trucks and SUVs, but destroys the splitter on any lowered car, Corvette, or exotic. These 4-inch rack ramps sit on top of the runway at the entry, dropping the effective approach angle down to something a low car can clear.
Two designs cover different lift styles: the Cutout Nose model ($225) sits butted against the lift runway edge, and the Hook Nose model ($438, 14-inch wide) wraps over the end of the runway for a secure, no-slip installation that won't shift under drive-on load. Both are 100% solid molded polyurethane foam, rated for full vehicle drive-on weight.

Cutout Nose or Hook Nose: what's the difference?
Cutout Nose ($225) butts up against the lift runway edge. Works fine on lifts with a stop or bumper that prevents sliding. Hook Nose ($438) physically wraps over the end of the runway for a secure grip that won't shift even in high-traffic drive-ons. Also 14 inches wide vs standard width. Buy Hook Nose if you're a shop; Cutout Nose is fine for home garage use.
Will these fit any 4-post lift?
Yes, they're designed to work with any standard 4-post drive-on lift runway. If you have an unusually narrow or wide runway, measure and call (470) 208-2754 to confirm fit.
Do they fit 2-post or scissor lifts?
No. Rack Ramps are for 4-post runways. For 2-post and scissor lifts, use the 4-inch Car Lift Ramps (RR-CLR-4) which are designed for lift arm geometry.
How lowered a car can they handle?
These handle most stock lowered cars including C6/C7/C8 Corvettes, WRX/STI, and lowered dailies. For extremely low track cars or wide-body kits, you may need to also add ramps at the ramp entry, or use them with a set of shallow car ramps to build up a longer effective approach.
Do they stay in place under drive-on load?
Yes when installed correctly. The Cutout Nose model relies on the runway bumper to keep it in place; the Hook Nose model wraps over the runway end for a positive lock that won't shift. Foam has a non-slip surface underneath as well.
