These 74 inch tow ramps bridge from the ground onto the deck and cut the approach to 5.2 degrees. They add 7 inches of lift over six feet of run, and a 1 inch by 5 inch notch at the top end locates the ramp on the bed so it cannot walk while the car climbs.

One piece or two piece?
Purely a storage question. The one piece is four pounds lighter per ramp and there is nothing to line up, so it is quicker at the call. The two piece splits into 42.3 inch sections that fit inside a truck compartment instead of riding loose on the deck. Angle, lift and capacity are identical.
What does the 10,000 lb GVW rating actually mean?
Each ramp carries 2,500 lbs, so the pair carries 5,000 lbs at the axle that is on them. Race Ramps rates the pair for vehicles up to 10,000 lbs gross because only one axle loads the ramps at a time as the car climbs. If a single wheel will see more than 2,500 lbs, they are not the right tool.
Will 5.2 degrees clear my customer's car?
It clears most of them. What matters is how low the front lip sits and how far ahead of the front axle it hangs. If the car is on coilovers with an aggressive splitter, add the XTenders, which put another 35 inches of ramp in front and take the first stage down to 4 degrees.
Do they slide on a wet or oily bed?
The notch is doing the work there, not friction. Hooked over the lip of the deck, the ramp cannot slide forward under a climbing tire. Sweep or wipe the contact area anyway, and set both ramps square to the direction of travel.
Can I winch a dead car up them?
Yes, and that is how most operators use them. The ramps only care about the load on the tire, not whether the car is driving or being pulled. Keep the winch line straight so the car tracks up the middle of both ramps rather than drifting off one edge.
