Race Ramps 72 Inch Two Stage Car Ramps, 6.8 Degree Approach | RR-72-2
A 6.8 Degree Start for Cars Nothing Else Will Fit: the Race Ramps 72" Two Stage
If your car is genuinely slammed, a single incline is the wrong shape no matter how long you make it. The steepest point is always the very first inch, right where the splitter is, and that is the inch that stops you.
The RR-72-2 is built in two stages. It opens at just 6.8 degrees, the shallowest entry Race Ramps makes, so the nose lifts clear before the ramp steepens to 10.8 degrees for the rest of the climb. Race Ramps describes it plainly as the ramp "for those whose cars are really low to the ground."
Seventy two inches of ramp delivers 8" of lift for tires up to 10" wide. It is a two piece design, so the incline lifts away once the car is parked. Each ramp carries 1,500 lbs, 6,000 lbs across the pair, at 14 lbs each.
Sold as a pair. If you want more lift and can live with a 10.8 degree start, the XT gives 10 inches. Browse all low profile car ramps.

RR-72-2 Frequently Asked Questions
What does two stage actually mean?
The ramp has two different slopes along its length. The first section rises at 6.8 degrees, which is shallow enough for a splitter or air dam to pass over, and once the front of the car is already lifted the second section climbs at 10.8 degrees to reach the full 8 inches. A single slope ramp cannot do both.
This or the XT?
Pick this one if getting the car on the ramp at all is the problem. Pick the XT if your car clears a 10.8 degree entry and you want more height, since it lifts 10 inches and takes tires up to 12 inches wide against 10 here.
How much room do I need?
Six feet of ramp per side, plus space to approach it straight. In a single garage that means backing the car out first. The upside is that once you are parked, the incline section lifts away and you get most of that floor back.
Will a wide tire fit?
Up to 10 inches of section width on a 12 inch wide ramp. If your fronts are wider than that, the XT takes 12 inch tires on a 14 inch deck and is the better match.
Can I use them at a track day?
Plenty of people do. At 14 lbs a ramp the pair travels in a trailer or a hatchback without thinking about it, and getting a low car up in a paddock with no lift available is exactly the situation these were designed for.
