Race Ramps 42 Inch Compact Flatbed HD Tow Ramps | BT-TT-7-10-IS
The Tow Ramp That Fits in a Side Box
Most tow ramps solve the angle problem and create a storage problem. Six feet of ramp has to ride somewhere, and on a working truck there is rarely somewhere for it to ride.
The BT-TT-7-10-IS is 42.3 inches long and 10 pounds, so a pair drops into a compartment and stays out of the way. It lifts 4.5 inches and still holds the approach to 5.2 degrees, the same angle as the full length ramps.
It carries the same 1 inch by 5 inch notch that hooks over the lip of the rollback bed, and the same 2,500 lb per ramp rating. What you give up against the 74 inch ramps is total lift, not angle and not capacity.
Sold as a pair, for tires up to 12 inches, rated for vehicles to 10,000 lbs GVW. Compare against the 74 inch tow ramps.

Compact Tow Ramp Frequently Asked Questions
If the angle is the same, why buy the 74 inch version?
Total lift. This one raises the tire 4.5 inches, the 74 inch ramps raise it 7. On a rollback that tilts well down to the ground, 4.5 inches is usually enough to clear the transition. On a bed that does not tilt as far, you want the extra height.
Can I add the XTenders to these?
No. The BT-TT-7-EX-10 XTenders are cut to mate with the 7 inch tow ramps, so they do not pair with the 4.5 inch compact. If you need a flatter first stage, the 74 inch ramps plus XTenders is the combination to run.
Are they strong enough for a full size car?
Each ramp is rated 2,500 lbs, which is the same as the long versions, and the pair is rated for vehicles up to 10,000 lbs gross. What matters is the load on one wheel, so check the corner weight rather than the curb weight if you are near the limit.
How much space do they take to store?
A pair stacks into a slot roughly 43 by 10 by 9 inches at 20 pounds total. That fits most rollback side compartments, and it fits behind the seat of a crew cab if the truck has no boxes.
Will they survive being thrown in a box every day?
The foam recovers rather than denting, and the coating is the wear surface. Keep grit off it, avoid dragging them across gravel, and they hold up to daily use. There is nothing to bend or corrode.
