The 2,500 lb Air-Hydraulic Powertrain Lift for Shops That Already Have Compressed Air
The iDEAL LT-PT2500AH-X is a portable, commercial-grade air-hydraulic lift table built specifically for the tech pulling powertrain components: engines, transmissions, transfer cases, differentials, drive-axle and transaxle assemblies. Its 2,500 lb capacity handles small block engines, transmissions with transfer cases, and full transaxle assemblies, and the extendable slotted platform adjusts from 31.5 to 36.7 inches long so you can position long assemblies where the bell housing lines up with the crossmember.
Instead of a 12VDC battery, this version runs on 90 to 125 PSI shop air through an exclusive fully-operational pneumatic hand-operated stainless-steel control panel with integrated air gauge and water separator. No charger to plug in, no battery to replace over the life of the lift, and no downtime when the battery is dead. If you have compressed air anywhere in the bay, you have a lift.
The platform includes four tie-down ring eyelets and a heavy-duty ratchet strap so the component stays put when you tilt (+/- 6 to 8 degrees) or roll the lift across the shop floor. Safety air latches secure the platform at each of three locking heights (49, 61 and 68 inches, max 72 inches). Rolls on four 6 inch directional-locking poly swivel casters. Also included: HD air-hydraulic pump and cylinder, double lift scissors, utility / tool tray, sub-platform storage, removable hand bar. Optional PT-PSAEK Support Adaptors & Extension Kit available. - Safety Air Latches: Redundant safety air latches secure the platform at each locking height. Mechanical backup to the hydraulic pressure holding the load.
- Three Locking Height Positions: Locks at 49, 61 and 68 inches with a max lift height of 72 inches. Height range from 35 to 72 inches covers everything from crossmember drops to full engine hoist work.
- Double-Scissor Heavy-Duty Design: Twin lift scissors with high-quality hydraulic cylinder and grease zerks at every pivot. Built to handle full-capacity loads day after day in a busy driveline shop.
- Directional-Locking Poly Swivel Casters + Removable Hand Bar: Four 6 inch poly swivel casters with directional locking. Removable hand bar makes rolling the lift into a tight bay easy, then comes off when you need clearance.
