Race Ramps Multi Purpose Shop Ramps, 7 Degree Approach | RR-SPR
2,500 lbs a Ramp, on a 7 Degree Climb
Most low ramps are built for one job. This one is not. Race Ramps designed the Shop Ramps to be the pair you leave out in the bay because you reach for them for something different every week.
Use them as a trailer ramp, an alignment ramp extender, a 4 post lift ramp extender, a 2 post lift ramp, or a jack assist ramp. Four inches of lift over 52 inches, which gives a 7 degree approach.
The number that separates these from the rest of the range is the rating. 2,500 lbs per ramp, 10,000 lbs GVW across the pair, at 17 lbs each. Everything else in the Race Ramps line stops at 1,500 lbs.
Sold as a pair, for tires up to 12" wide. For getting a very low car onto a lift, the RR-CLR-4 runs at 4 degrees. See all car ramps.

Shop Ramp Frequently Asked Questions
How do these compare to the Roll Ups?
Both lift 4 inches. The Roll Ups are 32.75 inches long at 11.9 degrees, 4 lbs, rated 1,500 lbs, and built to live in a trunk. These are 52 inches at 7 degrees, 17 lbs, and rated 2,500 lbs. Roll Ups for portability, Shop Ramps for a bay.
Can I work under a car on these?
Four inches is not working clearance. Use them to get the car onto a lift, over a trailer break, or high enough for a jack, then lift properly and use stands before you go underneath.
Will they work with my 4 post lift?
In most cases yes, placed in front of the lift ramps so the car climbs gradually onto them. The geometry depends on your lift and how low the car is, so call us with both and we will check it before you buy.
Is 2,500 lbs per ramp enough for a truck?
The pair is rated to 10,000 lbs GVW, which covers most half ton and three quarter ton pickups. Check your loaded weight against that figure, and remember the axle on the ramps carries more than half on a nose heavy vehicle.
Will they slide on a trailer floor?
The traction coating grips well on a clean surface. Sweep grit and dust off first, set the ramp square, and drive on slowly. On a wet or oily aluminum floor, wipe the contact area before you position them.
