Rolling cabinets have wheels and roll around the garage. Top chests sit on top of the rolling cabinet (or on a workbench) and add drawer space without wheels. Together they form a complete tool storage tower.
Homak H2Pro vs. RS Pro vs. Pro II?
H2Pro: 18-gauge commercial. RS Pro: 20-gauge heavy-duty residential/light commercial. Pro II: 22-gauge value entry. Steel gauge lower = thicker = heavier duty. H2Pro also has higher drawer weight capacity (150 lb vs. 60 lb Pro II).
Do top chests come with the keys?
Yes. Every top chest ships with keyed-alike locks and 2 keys included. Matching rolling cabinets from the same series often share keys, so one key opens the full tower.
How much weight can a top chest hold?
Depends on series. H2Pro: 150 lb per drawer, ~1,500 lb total capacity. RS Pro: 100 lb per drawer. Pro II: 60 lb per drawer. Total capacity is roughly 10x per-drawer capacity.
Do I need a matching rolling cabinet?
Not required. Top chests can sit on any flat surface (workbench, dedicated cabinet base, wall shelf). Matching rolling cabinets from the same series just look and function best.
