Lift Heavier All Day with the Triumph NTO-13A 13,000 lb 2 Post Lift with 4 Three Stage Arms

Buying a 2 post lift usually gets stressful for one simple reason: you need real capacity, real stability, and enough room to actually work, but you do not want to overpay for features you will never use. A lot of lifts look good on paper, then you find out the arms do not reach right, the height is tight, or the “heavy duty” rating feels like marketing. The Triumph NTO-13A was built to fix those pain points with a straightforward mission: lift cars safely and consistently, all day. It is a 13,000 lb option for shops that have outgrown 11K models but do not want to jump to the price of a 15K. If you service heavier trucks, SUVs, or loaded fleet vehicles, this is the sweet spot. And the 11K-to-15K capacity gap is one of the trickiest in the 2-post market. Standard 11K lifts hit a wall at heavier vehicles, but 15K commercial-grade lifts cost 50% more for capacity that home and small-shop buyers don't actually need.

The Triumph Heavy-Duty 13,000 lb 2-Post Overhead Lift | NTO-13A is wider and taller than Triumph’s 11K class lifts, giving you more breathing room for bigger vehicles and busier bays. You also get four 3-stage arms instead of the typical setup found on many lifts, which helps you position vehicles with more flexibility across different wheelbases and frame styles. This lift uses direct-drive cylinders, built for strong, dependable lifting without unnecessary complexity. Power is shop standard with a 220V motor, so it fits right into most commercial installs. And since vehicle contact points matter, it includes three sets of height adapters to help you dial in the right pickup height. Wider column spacing accommodates dually pickups, lifted trucks, and crew-cab work vehicles that won't fit standard 11K lifts. The taller frame gives extra under-vehicle clearance for tall lifted trucks and full-size SUVs.

From a footprint standpoint, the NTO-13A is designed for practical bay planning. The drawing shows an approx. 162 in overall height and 150 in overall width, with 109 in noted across the base area in the top view. It also calls out 32 in to 59 in arm reach and a 5 in to 74 in lifting height range, helping cover everything from low cars to taller trucks. If you are shopping for a 13,000 lb 2 post lift that feels purpose-built for real service work, this one keeps it simple, strong, and shop-friendly. It is exactly what most people mean when they say they want a true commercial vehicle lift. For shops bridging the gap between consumer 11K lifts and commercial 15K equipment, the NTO-13A offers the right structural rating and frame dimensions without paying the commercial premium.

Benefits of the Triumph 13,000 lb 2-Post Overhead Lift

More capacity, less spend
Step up from 11K without paying 15K pricing. The 13,000 lb capacity bridges a real gap that most lift manufacturers skip.
Fits bigger vehicles easier
Wider and taller design helps daily positioning. Crew cabs, dually pickups, and lifted SUVs that struggle with standard 11K lifts fit cleanly.
Faster spotting and setup
Four 3-stage arms make pickup points easier. The arm geometry adjusts for short and long wheelbases without swapping equipment.
Consistent lifting power
Direct-drive cylinders keep operation straightforward. Fewer moving parts than cable-driven systems, less to maintain over the lift's life.
Better frame contact options
Three adapter sets help match vehicle lift points. Different frame variations (truck, SUV, sedan) get proper support without forcing improvised contact points.
Built for shop workflow
220V power and overhead design suit commercial bays. The 3HP motor cycles full-capacity loads at consistent speed for steady commercial use.

Key Features of the Triumph NTO-13A 2-Post Lift You'll Love:

13,000 lb capacity built for the “in-between” buyer: This lift is made for customers who need more than an 11K but do not want to pay 15K money. That matters in the real world because many shops are seeing heavier SUVs, EVs, and fleet trucks every week. A true commercial vehicle lift should feel confident at capacity, not sketchy. The NTO-13A is positioned to be that practical step-up without the premium jump.

Wider and taller frame for better bay usability: The NTO-13A is wider and taller than the NTO-11A class, which helps a lot once you start pulling in larger vehicles. More height and width means less “threading the needle” when you are trying to center something heavy. It also makes daily workflow smoother, especially if multiple techs share the same bay. If you have ever felt cramped on a smaller 2 post car lift, this is the kind of upgrade you notice immediately.

Four 3-stage arms for flexible pickup positioning: Instead of the more common arm setup, this lift uses 4 x 3-stage arms. That gives you more reach options and helps you match pickup points across a bigger range of wheelbases and chassis designs. It is especially helpful when you bounce between cars, SUVs, and work trucks in the same week. Less fighting the arms means faster spotting, safer lifting, and fewer do-overs.

Direct-drive cylinders for straightforward, dependable lifting: Direct-drive cylinders are all about reliable motion without adding extra complexity. Shops tend to love systems that are simple to understand, easy to service, and consistent over time. That is the mindset behind this lift’s design: remove the whistles and focus on what matters. You get the kind of lifting behavior you want from Triumph 2 post lifts, especially in a high-use environment.
