Built for Big Jobs – Atlas SBC990 Sandblast Cabinet with Vacuum System & Foot Pedal Control

Shopping for a sandblasting cabinet that’s powerful enough for large parts, yet easy to use? Most budget sandblast cabinets are either too cramped to fit big components, or they create such a mess you spend more time cleaning than blasting. It’s frustrating, especially when you’re mid-project and dealing with clogs, dust clouds, or awkward trigger controls.

That’s where the Atlas Equipment SBC990 Large Sandblast Cabinet with Vacuum shines. It takes everything users love about the popular SBC420 and supersizes it. With a 46" x 34" x 33.5" work area, you can blast large frames, engine parts, or rusted equipment without worrying about tight corners or loading issues. The extra-large front/top load door means less struggling to fit parts inside—and more time actually getting work done.

This atlas sandblast cabinet is also built for long sessions and real shop use. A foot-operated control valve gives you hands-free blasting, while the self-contained vacuum system keeps the viewing area clean and your lungs clearer. Add in a heavy-duty blasting gun with replaceable ceramic nozzles, 110V plug-and-play setup, and always-in-stock wear parts, and you’ve got a serious upgrade for any auto shop or restoration garage.

Shipping Policy

  • Large items ship via commercial freight carriers using 53-foot enclosed tractor-trailers. Please ensure your delivery address is a legitimate business location that can accommodate this size vehicle. Residential addresses, farms, and limited-access locations (e.g., schools, storage units, government facilities) may incur additional charges.

Delivery Access

  • The truck must have clear access in and out of your property.
  • We cannot ship to vague locations (e.g., “end of Sam’s Club parking lot”) or addresses that require passing through gates or checkpoints without prior coordination.
  • If a semi cannot access the location, delivery will be delayed or denied.

Unloading Responsibilities

  • Customers are 100% responsible for unloading the shipment. You will need a forklift, skid steer, rollback wrecker, or similar equipment. The truck driver will not help unload, and disassembly inside the trailer is not permitted for safety and insurance reasons.
  • Liftgate service is available for lighter items (under 1,000 lbs) for an additional fee, but most heavy equipment, especially lifts, cannot be unloaded by liftgate.

Scheduling and Communication

  • Most freight carriers offer a free 24-hour call-ahead when the product reaches the terminal near you. Make sure we have a cell or work number on file to avoid missed calls and delays.
  • “Call when 30 minutes away” requests cannot be guaranteed.
  • Missed appointments may delay delivery and require rescheduling at the carrier’s discretion.

Freight Terminal Pickup or Alternate Delivery

  • If you can’t unload at your location, we can ship to a local freight terminal for pickup.
  • Alternatively, consider shipping to a friend’s business that has unloading equipment. Ensure they know how to inspect for damage and note it properly.

Inspection & Freight Damage

  • Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt. If there is damage, note it clearly on the bill of lading and take photos.
  • Failure to note visible damage may forfeit your right to file a freight claim.
  • All freight-related damage or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Self-Arranged Freight

  • Customers using their own freight carrier must:
    • Provide a Bill of Lading
    • Be available 10 AM – 4 PM EST for truck loading
    • Accept that skid and brace fees ($20–$30) may apply for packaging safety

Returns & Cancellations

  • If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 10 days of purchase for return or exchange authorization.
  • Return Conditions:
    • All returns must be pre-approved in writing.
    • Items must be new, uninstalled, and in original packaging.
    • Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
    • All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
    • Refunds are issued once items are received, tested, and approved by our team.
  • Damaged or Defective Items:
    • Freight-damaged products must be noted on the delivery receipt and reported within 24 hours.
    • Small parcel damage (UPS/FedEx) should be noted and reported within 7 days.
    • Defective or damaged items will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. If no replacement is available, a refund may be issued.
  • Cancellations:
    • A 5% cancellation fee applies to any order that has been processed but not yet shipped.
    • We do not issue refunds for unauthorized returns.

Warranty Policy

  • Most of our products come with a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering structural, hydraulic, and electrical components (where applicable). Wear items like belts, pads, and hoses are covered under a 90-day warranty.
  • What’s Covered:
    • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.
    • Coverage applies to the original purchaser only.
    • Parts will be repaired or replaced at our discretion.
  • What’s Not Covered:
    • Labor or shipping for warranty work.
    • Normal wear and tear items.
    • Equipment damaged by misuse, improper installation, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
    • Equipment not maintained according to manufacturer guidelines.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment regularly.
  • Use clean, lubricated, moisture-free air for pneumatic parts.
  • Use surge protection for electric components.
  • Ensure proper electrical amperage is supplied.
  • Warranty claims must be pre-approved in writing.

Legal Disclaimer

  • This warranty replaces all other expressed or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, such as lost profit, substitute equipment, or commercial interruption.
